Job Description

Our client is looking for a Benefits Advisor to job-share with the existing Benefits Advisor. This is a great opportunity for someone with benefits experience who is looking to work 2-3 days/week. The focus of this role is to support two Reward and Benefits Managers to provide a top class benefits offering focusing predominantly on the UK with some support of the international benefits as well.

 

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all employee benefit queries
  • First point of escalation for complex benefit queries and benefit provider performance concerns
  • Support the new joiner induction process
  • Support the annual and bi-annual insurance renewal exercises, liaising internally and externally as appropriate
  • Coordinate health-related exercises such as health assessments flu jab programme
  • Meet regularly with key benefit providers to scrutinise provider performance and utilisation of the benefits
  • Participate in a re-design of the UK flexible benefits platform and associated processes
  • Undertake other benefit related ad hoc tasks and projects

 

Requirements:

  • Must have strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups – these will be test as part of the interview process
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in employee benefits in a professional services environment
  • Solid understanding of employee benefits schemes
  • Experience working with pensions and auto enrolment
  • Experience working in an HR system and ability to produce and analyse reports
  • Anticipates potential problems, identifies possible solutions and understands when to escalate to others for resolution
  • A positive “can do “ attitude
  • Comfortable working on part of a team and supporting others where needed
  • Ability to maintain focus and drive to achieve quality outcomes and has an organised approach to their work
