Our client is a leading listed conglomerate currently hiring a seasoned Payroll Manager to join and manage their payroll function and leading a sizeable team.
To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must -
• Have mass payroll experience managing a population encompassing 2000 plus employees
• Have worked in financial services industries or sizeable companies
• Have solid team management experience
Reporting into the HR Director, you will assume an important role overseeing the payroll operations whilst manager a team of in-house payroll specialist on payroll matters inclusive of payroll calculation, annual tax filing, medical and insurance renewal, tax equalisation for expatriate staff etc. Working closely with internal stakeholders and also building good relationship with the outsourced payroll vendor, you will ensure top quality deliverables are attained. You will also challenge status quo and help review and revamp existing payroll processes and procedures for best business outcome. Ad hoc payroll-related projects will also be assigned.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated solid 10+ years’ end-to-end payroll processing experience within a complexed organisation with 2000+ employees, ideally from financial industry. You will have a comprehensive understanding of tax, insurance, pension schemes and local labour legislation; whilst also demonstrate strong leadership skills managing a sizeable team. On top of which, you will have the ability to build relationships with HR, HRIS and finance colleagues. Exceptional organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail will be essential whilst strong system skills and experience with HR/ Payroll systems as well as MS Excel, Word will help excel in this role.
