People & Culture Business Partner – New York City

With an innovative and transparent approach to the traditional business model, this company is experiencing a period of hyper-growth and are seeking a P&C Business Partner to join their team in New York City. In this challenging role, you will use your HR expertise to proactively partner with other business partners to enhance the capability of the organization. You will engage with employees and develop the employee experience, managing talent management functions and delivering key P&C initiatives.  


Additionally, you will help conduct core HR cycles such as talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation reviews, talent and performance reviews, and succession planning. You will have in-depth understanding of core HR technical skills and be able to apply that to a creative and high performing culture. 


We are ideally looking for someone with a strong, business partnering background who has worked in high-growth organisations from creative industries such as tech and media. We are also looking for an individual with a high level of business acumen who is able to support current and future staff through periods of change and has a strong knowledge of US employment regulations. You must have excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude in order to succeed in this fast-paced and ambiguous environment. 


In addition, we are also looking for:


  • A minimum of 7-10 years relevant HR experience, business partnering highly preferred
  • Tech/Media industry background preferred
  • Results-focused without hindering a creative atmosphere 
  • Exceptional change management and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build trust 
  • Energetic and proactive attitude
