Our client is a multi-hedge fund firm that has been enjoying impressive growth for the past 3 years. They have a headcount of 150 across all its offices and affiliate offices in Singapore and in the region. This will be the first HR person hired in Singapore and will report to the Head of Human Capital in HK.
You will be responsible for all day-to-day HR operations of the business, preparing HR-related reports, managing the work pass applications, conducting initial orientation to new hires and working closely with outsourced vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of payroll for 4 locations with a headcount of about 75. For variety, the payroll portfolio will be rotated with your peer in HK.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and a team player. You will also need to be able to work with minimal supervision. You will have a background of at least 5 years doing HR operations with the exposure to managing payroll vendors. This is a young and energetic firm so we are looking for someone with an outgoing and positive mindset to best align with the company culture.
