This is a new role working for a Fintech organisation.

Due to business growth my client is looking to hire a dedicated Recruiter to manage the full provision of the hiring process.  The headcount is currently circa 150 with the intention to grow by a further 35 heads this year alone and then further across an international platform.

You will support the business and provide expert advice and services to the whole of the business for all recruitment related matters, including identification, attraction, engagement and selection. You will be highly customer-focused, consultative, progressive, innovative and fair in your approach.

You will be effective at market mapping and understanding the competitor landscape.

You will be responsible for the hands on delivery of high quality recruitment advice and end-to-end recruitment services that meet and exceed business requirements and candidate experience expectations. This involves establishing excellent working relationships with the senior leaders and a range of external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver recruitment activity, to ensure that the most appropriate organisational design, role structure, remuneration and role purpose are agreed as part of any recruitment activity.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated, consistent and compliant approach to any recruitment activity is implemented. This includes identifying and implementing appropriate sourcing channels, drafting and placing advertisements, screening, interviewing, testing and finalising offer and onboarding arrangements.  
  • Establish and contribute to the evolution and implementation of the recruitment process including preferred supplier management, fee negotiation, cost reduction, direct recruitment, supplier management and the provision of specialist advice to hiring managers.
  • Generate and track metrics to enable the performance monitoring of recruitment solutions

This role requires a high degree of consultation with local and overseas based stakeholders. Some travel may also be required.


This is regarded as an entrepreneurial tech business so ideally you will have experience both within IT/fintech and a start-up. The ideal person will have had experience of recruiting sales and marketing professionals, as well as key management hires. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate quick progression throughout their recruitment career.  Other attribute include: ambitious, confident, commercial, fast paced and adaptable.
