My client is a top law firm looking to hire a Recruitment Coordinator who will be responsible of co-ordinating the end-to-end recruitment process for international lateral partner and counsel hires.

Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Working with Global Head of Partner Recruitment and Integration and Recruitment Adviser to co-ordinate end-to-end process for international lateral partner/counsel hires
  • Liaise with Partners, executive search agencies and candidates on recruitment matters and respond to speculative job applications
  • Manage agency relationships, agency terms and conditions and database of contacts
  • Maintenance of internal recruitment and integration site pages
  • Day to day responsibility for the online recruitment system including processing of candidates
  • Co-ordinate candidate correspondence
  • Scheduling interviews, often across conflicting time zones, including video conferences and several stages of interview process
  • Record and monitor all stages of candidates' progress from CV review to offer stage
  • Maintain recruitment spreadsheet and reports
  • Consistent maintenance of candidate files, search files, records and reports
  • Document production including drafting, proof-reading and amending documents for Senior Management
  • Maintaining records of agency terms and conditions and database of contacts
  • Research and project assistance as required

Recruitment marketing

  • Manage updates to Lateral Partner recruitment materials
  • Assist with the organisation of recruitment events

Administration

  • Maintenance of candidate files and records
  • Post-hire administration as required
  • Liaise with the relevant teams to arrange inductions for new joiners
  • Travel arrangements including hotel accommodation and taxi bookings as required for lateral partner candidates
  • Produce cyclical and one off reports

Process improvements

  • Reviewing and looking for ways to streamline the current recruitment processes, including better use of technology

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience of working within a recruitment function either in-house or in an agency
  • Previous experience within professional services
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to juggle competing tasks whilst maintaining good client relationships
  • Candidates must have a strong academic background and will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a law firm environment, or alternatively a similar professional services culture
