Job Description

Our client is an overseas banking organisation that are looking to instil a lead recruiter to oversee all of their EMEA and APAC recruitment operations. 

  • London based. 
  • Global scope. 
  • Financial Services.

This is a new role but one that is vital to the consistent running of the HR department. It is a stand-alone recruitment role that reports direct to the Head of HR, it is the first role of its kind and while recruitment is the bulk of the work the role will have some generalist elements so it is a great opportunity for a recruiter to start to develop a business partner career. In the short term you will need to really understand and know the business across both the front and back office, the company has a large dependency on external recruiters, and while this is ok, they want greater consistency and clarity over the terms of business and the EVP that is being sold to the wider market. Because of the stand-alone nature of the role you will be required to work on roles and ensure that they are executed, this is the priority of the role, with the more strategic elements adding greater interest and business dialogue. 

We are looking for a pro-active, service driven recruiter, this is not all about saving money, it is about  saving money while increasing the service delivery of the recruitment team. The company believes in its values and therefore the “sell” to the greater external market is an important one that they want to get right and they see recruitment as the first touch point in that process. We are looking for someone that has worked in-house, either direct or via an RPO and who is now looking for their next step. Financial services experience is regarded as essential with front office experience being regarded as an advantage but not essential. Ultimately we want a pro-active, common sense driven recruiter with values. 

In addition to the above we are also looking for someone with the following:

  • An undergraduate degree. 
  • International experience or pedigree. 
  • A consultative approach.
