Our client is a global luxury, modern and hip retail brand with a strong European flavour and while they expand in Asia Pacific, they are inviting a passionate HR leader and business partner to join and help set up their HR function.

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director with a functional reporting to Global HR, you will help build out the HR function for the brand in Asia, as well as their corporate functions and retail footprint. Following global brand direction and guidance, you will be a brand ambassador, set policy & procedures and execute HR practices for the Asia Pacific business across recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, as well as acting as an HR partner to the senior leadership team.
We are looking for an HR generalist or HR business partner with a minimum of 15 years’ experience gained from the consumer products sector, while retail industry experience would be a great asset. The ideal candidate will enjoy a set-up role and be highly comfortable in a matrixed environment. Organisation design and change management experience are crucial. In addition, we are looking for:
• Degree qualification
• A highly energetic team-player who is friendly and engaging
• Passion for the brand and the ability to embrace the culture
• Language proficiency and outstanding communication skills in both English and Chinese
