Our client, one of the world’s leading banks, is seeking a dynamic senior HR business partner to support their investment banking business unit.

As a senior member of the front-office HR Business Partner team, you will provide all-round HR advisory support to the investment banking client group, including but not limited to such areas as manpower planning, talent & succession management, engagement and employee relations. You will work closely with the firm’s various COEs to provide the business with effective HR specialist support, and will collaborate with senior members of other HR teams on a range of projects. Though you won’t have any direct reports, you will mentor and direct the work of junior HRBPs on your team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR business partner with a proven track record covering demanding clients in major financial services firms. They will have well-rounded HR knowledge, and an ability to translate this to business strategy and collaborate with senior leaders, whilst at the same time being comfortable with hands-on, sometimes administrative, work. Further, the successful candidate will specifically demonstrate:
- At least eight years of prior HR business partnering/generalist experience in the banking or financial services sector
- Fluent written and spoken English; Cantonese or Mandarin are highly advantageous
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
