This role is an integral part of the HR team and the business. In this role, the HRBP will provide the foundational support and functional expertise that drives proactivity and results across the dedicated business groups. The HRBP will handle responsibilities including onboarding of new staff, employee relations, performance & talent management, recruitment workflow, people metrics/ reporting, partnering with line management on HR and business needs and special projects. The HRBP will also work closely with the HR Director to create and drive talent and business strategy across the business.
Reporting into the HR Director, you will create and drive a talent strategy including identifying top talent, attracting that top talent and the overall career development for staff within the designated unit. You will develop, implement, and facilitate training and development initiatives to meet the specific business needs of the organisation; you will also advocate and facilitate solutions regarding employee relations issues; drive annual performance and planning/ review exercises, and drive the annual HR review process including top talent identification (9 Box), organisational strategy and succession planning. On top of which, you’d also analyse the HR key metrics such as turnover, exit interviews, days to fill positions, cost per hire, and utilise data for process improvements. This role will also involve special events coordination and other special projects management as well so would expect someone hands on whilst having a strategic mind-set.
To qualify, you wold be degree educated with a minimum of 10 year’s direct HRBP / Generalist experience. You will demonstrate excellent relationship-building and stakeholders management skills; ability to thrive in a fast changing environment with multiple priorities; excellent communications skills in both English and Chinese; ability to get into details when necessary but also see the holistic picture and drive appropriate strategies. Candidates with the flexibility and ability to adjust to a constantly changing work environment will excel in this role and immediate available candidates highly regarded! Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior HR Business Partner.
