Our client is a European-headquartered retailer that owns and manufactures high-end lifestyle products. Due to business expansion, they are currently hiring for a seasoned HR Business Partner calibre to join as part of their management team.

Reporting into the Group HR Director, you will assume all round responsibilities across recruitment, training, employee engagement, C&B and performance management. You will supervise the recruitment team to ensure 1st tier HR services are delivered; you will also serve as the internal HR advisor working closely with line managers to understand operational needs and challenges to identify training needs and source and provide relevant training programmes to develop staff capabilities to meet business demands and conduct post training evaluation to measure training effectiveness. On top of which, this role will help with driving employee engagement through different activities and communication channels; and also on annual salary benchmarking exercises to ensure company’s pay philosophy remains competitive and staff are reward for their performance. Ad hoc projects will also be assigned.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated with a minimum of 10+ years HR business partnering experience acquired from sizeable multinational corporations, ideally from retail and FMCG industries. You’d demonstrate strong communication skills working with different levels of stakeholders and also a track record of success in previous jobs managing a sizeable team whilst excel with minimal supervision. Proficiency in both English and Chinese will be required for this role and immediately available candidates highly regarded.
