Job Description

Our client is a sizeable retailer; to cope with business expansion and diversification, they are currently hiring for a seasoned talent & organisation development calibre to join and be in charge a diversified range of projects including competency model development, trainee programmes, employee engagement, designing corporate’s job banding structure, and also oversee the Learning & Development function of the company.

Reporting into the General Manaer - Human Resources, you’d be a key player in the planning and execution of various talent and organisation development projects for the company. You will act as the project manager to plan, review and the communication of the said initiatives to internal employees including career path building, competence needs analysis, talent development and succession planning, design the job banding system etc. You will also oversee the employee engagement and trainee programmes and be the focal point of contact for any internal enquiries. At the same time, you’d be overseeing the learning and department function of the company to lead comprehensive competency gap analysis, identify development priorities and build relevant and targeted competency based talent development plans. You will review and revamp current programmes and continuously increase its value and applicability to suit the company’s strategy and needs. You will also act as the internal advisor to senior business leaders on cultural building, employer brand building and people engagement. 

The ideal candidate will be degree educated with minimum 12 years’ solid experience in talent and organisation development. Candidates with experience from mass retail / F&B businesses highly regarded. Native Cantonese and high proficiency in both English and Putonghua will be required; whilst excellent influencing and stakeholders management skills will be key to success for this position. You will also demonstrate the ability to induce innovative changes within the business as a self-started and work within a team. Immediate available candidates will be highly regarded.
