Our client is a well established US company within the electronics sector. As part of their business expansion plan, they are currently looking for a Japanese-speaking HR Business Partner to join as part of their sizeable HR team. 


Reporting to the Head of HR, this is an independent role that requires close liaison with key business leaders to ensure top tier HR service are delivered. You will act as the internal HR advisor to identify any people issues, investigate into the root causes and make recommendations to ensure a satisfactory outcome. This role will also serve as the project manager for any Employee Relations or CSR events that take place within the business; which aims to cultivate a collaborative culture within the multicultural workforce, and to help with driving more comprehensive employee engagement whilst resolving any issues that could maintain a union free environment. Furthermore, as part of the retention strategies, you will also be taking part in the design and implementation of any talent management programmes to support a productive culture that focused on service and quality


To qualify for this role, you will demonstrate a strong business partnering and stakeholders management sense with track record working within multinational & complexed environment. You will demonstrate the flexibility and ability to cope with ambiguous situations, shares in-depth knowledge and HR Advisory skills as an internal business partner, ‘think-out-of-the-box to challenge status quo when faced with a critical situation , and the independence working with minimal supervision. English, Japanese and Chinese will be required for this role, and candidates with a minimum of 12 years work experience (ideally from MNCs with best market practice or HR Consultancies) will be highly regarded.
