Job Description

The Job:

  • The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for driving strategic business initiatives, be a central point for HR matters, advice and guidance to the Thailand business

  • Provide strategic execution of process implementation; Talent/Succession Management and Development; Performance Management and Development; Employee Relations and business unit advisory; Branding; EVP

  • Work with the Thailand and Shared Service Centre HR Operations teams and country and/or regional HR to agree and make recommendations to Leaders that are consistent with local country practice and legislation

  • Work closely with internal leaders and HR teams, this position plays a key role in project management and client liaison during HR transitions for new client on-boarding, ensuring transitions meet or exceed expectations

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively support pursuits and RFP requests with ownership of HR services in proposals and participates in client pitches promoting and advancing the HR value proposition with clients

  • Lead annual HR processes including performance and compensation reviews, bonus payments, job evaluation, promotions, talent reviews and succession planning

  • Provides interpretation of corporate policies and procedures i.e. guides managers in handling sensitive issues in regard to performance management and other employee relations matters

  • Enhance employee and management performance by identifying training and development needs, offering and evaluating appropriate training programs, ensuring effective utilization of performance management feedback systems and processes

  • Conducts training programs on topics including sexual harassment, selection, motivation, office productivity, performance management and diversity

  • Provides HR insight into operational issues and goals

  • Prepare and audit data to ensure appropriate business decisions are being made within the areas of responsibility – using data to make educated decisions and suggestions to management

  • Partners strongly and effectively with Project Managers to on-board new client employees

  • Promote and enhance the organisation’s brand and reputation

  • Enhance employee and management performance by identifying training and development needs, offering and evaluating appropriate training programs, ensuring effective utilization of performance management feedback systems and processes

  • Utilize people metric dashboards to monitor overall HR performance on accounts and drive service effectiveness in line with service level requirements

  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Travel within Thailand will also be required – estimated 25%

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from college or university and a minimum of 10 years of related business experience

  • At least 10 years of solid generalist HR experience gained in HR Operations, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits or Analytics with minimum of 3 years as a HR Business Partner

  • Experience managing internal/external clients across multi-national environments for large global organizations with complex matrix reporting structure

  • At least 3 years of solid HR/RPO/BPO project management experience dealing with local large scale, time and commercially sensitive projects

  • A credible track record of success in leading HR initiatives and growing talent base

  • Experience operating and engaging at a country and regional leadership stakeholder level

  • Proven experience using data to drive business development, service improvements and profitability

  • Fluent in both English and Thai languages
