An exciting newly created position for a US listed company with ambitious expansion plans across APAC during 2022. The organisation has a history spanning over 90 years and an enviable footprint in US and European markets. The APAC geography currently spans Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney.
Reporting to the Regional HR Manager based in Europe, this will be a pioneer role as they add headcount to the APAC region to support the growth agenda. Supported by a CoE model covering Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, L&D and Reward, you will ensure global policies and process are implemented with local nuances. With such a firm growth agenda, a key focus will be working with the TA team to implement appropriate sourcing strategies for pivotal hires, identifying niche external partners and managing local selection and interview processes. You will also onboard new employees and ensure existing employees have robust development plans in place. You will work closely with the Executive Leadership team to ensure HR strategies are aligned with commercial strategy.
You will have demonstrable experience in an all -round HR role encompassing both generalist skills and business partnering, ideally acting as an advisor to C-level decision makers. Experience in a greenfield or pioneer HR role will also be useful as will the innate ability to interpret global policy into a local setting. You will be able to show exposure to multiple markets across the APAC region and, ideally, experience of working with a business as they have scaled.
