Job Description

Our client is leading European private equity firm with over 50 years’ experience of mid-market primary buyouts.  Their team of over 120 people are based across 5 offices in Europe/


The HR Systems & Reporting Advisor has two important areas of focus. Firstly, managing the day-to-day running of all HR platforms, portals and online systems supporting HR Operations (including the HRM system, payroll, compensation and benefits systems), and L&D (including performance appraisal and learning systems). Secondly, the role incumbent will be responsible for all HR reporting across the team, and the development of insightful people analytics across the business.


Duties of the Role:

  • Management of the operation, maintenance, usage and administration of all HR systems
  • Support with ongoing learning activity
  • Support with appraisal process
  • Analysis and reporting
  • Support with end of year salary and bonus review
  • Continuous improvement to HR processes and systems



  • Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and customer service to employees and external stakeholders
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and prioritise own work
  • Experience of process and systems improvements, including implementation of workflows and automising data flows
  • Ability to analyse people information and data and demonstrate lateral thinking in relation to analysis and report production
  • Experience of collating and presenting results / insights / trends to multiple stakeholders in a visually appealing way, e.g., to HR, Investor Relations, Insights, Teams and relevant Management / Board Committees
  • Proven experience of using initiative and problem solving and using people data / analytics in a strategic HR function role in a financial or professional services environment
  • Extensive experience of HR systems
  • Experience of using different HR portals and interfaces and comfortable with navigating multiple systems and data sources to organise related data
  • Experience of Cascade HRIS, payroll systems, SharePoint, and working with a learning management system is preferred
  • Experience of mail merge and dealing with compensation data sets across multiple geographies
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills


Preferred but not essential

  • Relevant degree in business, HR or business psychology
  • CIPD or equivalent is preferred
  • People Analytics qualification/certification is preferred
