US Payroll Manager – New York, NY
Our client is a global fin/tech firm and they are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager (US Region) to join their New York based team.

Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you will be responsible for the implementation and accurate processing of USA payroll. You will oversee payroll preparation, process payroll, update tax status and deduction information, prepare 401K reports and match accrual, coordinate year-end processing and production of W2’s and update and maintain the HRIS system. You will also interact with several external vendors as well as liaise with the different departments within the business on payroll processing matters.
The ideal candidate must have experience managing and building teams, strong organization and communication skills and proven experience with implementing payroll or transitioning to new platforms as well as managing the relationship between payroll and benefit plans. Success will require a candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative environment. The role is a national position, so this person will have experience managing complex and multi-state payrolls for over 10,000 employees.
In addition to this we are also looking for:
- Minimum of 7 years payroll experience, CPP preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experienced in Ceridian Dayforce, Workday, PeopleSoft or similar HCM
- Strong working knowledge of payroll practices and procedures
