Vice President, HR Business Partner - New York City

In this challenging role, you will use your expertise to proactively partner with senior business stakeholders and provide strategic consultation in the implementation of HR programs and initiatives. By leveraging your industry and HR processes knowledge, you will support the organization through organic evolution; focusing on talent management, workforce planning, employee relations and performance feedback and development. In order to successfully influence and advise organizational leaders, you must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience as well as 5 years of partnership direct to a business group.   

 

Expect to partner with the Learning & Development team and maximize team performance through accurate identification of employee development needs and implementation of coaching activities. In addition, you will serve as trusted subject matter expert around compensation planning and annual goal setting, as well compliance with city, state and federal regulations. 

 

We are ideally looking for someone with a strong business partnering background who has developed a reputable background in the luxury retail industry. We are also looking for an individual with a high level of business acumen who is able to see potential issues before they arise and act as a champion of change, finding alternative long term solutions in a complex, matrixed business. 

 

In addition, we are also looking for:

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HRBP experience
  • Background in creative industries preferred such as Luxury Retail, Fine Arts, Advertising
  • Must have outstanding communications skills and high emotional intelligence
