Director of Talent Acquisition – New York City
A global Consumer Tech organization is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead their US recruitment strategy and ensure best practice in their recruitment function. This person will be a key member of the HR Leadership team and support the development of a dynamic team of recruiters.

In this role you will develop and execute regional recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support the growth of the business. We are looking for someone who has ample experience building teams, maintaining robust pipelines, guiding and motivating TA professionals, and designing top notch candidate recruitment and onboarding processes. You will leverage data and insights to partner with stakeholders and prove your understanding of the business and its needs. Expect to manage workflow efficiency, third-party vendors, as well as share your knowledge with other functional leaders of the business.
The ideal candidate will also be self-directed, results-focused, and have strong project management skills as this organization is fast-paced and growing. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about technology, customer service, and coaching. This role requires excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly with C-level executives and directors. Additionally, previous experience with technology-driven organizations and strong TA plan design/team management experience is required.
In addition you must have:
- Minimum of 8 years’ agency or corporate recruitment experience (both is preferred)
- At least 3 years’ experience leading a fast-paced recruitment function
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- A Bachelor’s degree
