Salary Band: £65,000 - £75,000 (pro-rated for 3 days per week part-time).

 

Our client is a leading discovery platform, delivering recommendations to over one billion unique users every month. As a part-time Benefits and Payroll Advisor, you’ll play a role in advancing their mission while enjoying the flexibility of a role that aligns with your lifestyle. The company is undergoing expansion and is excited to announce a distinctive opportunity for a seasoned Benefits Advisor to join their EMEA HR team on a part-time basis. This role, requiring a commitment of 2-3 days per week, will primarily focus on overseeing benefits programs for all EMEA locations and researching and implementing new benefits as the company expands into new territories. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the broader London-based HR team to ensure that benefits offerings remain competitive, meet employee needs, and reflect the company's values.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide advisory support on benefits to the HR team, collaborating with external Benefits Advisors and becoming the team’s payroll and benefits expert for the EMEA business.
  • Address ad hoc inquiries from staff on complex matters related to pensions, benefits, and payroll, while supporting the Head of HR, EMEA in effectively communicating updates and changes.
  • Regularly review benefits offerings, aiming to enhance benefits provided to employees by staying connected to the external market and implementing new offerings.
  • Research and recommend competitive benefits packages across EMEA, and facilitate the rollout of new benefits in collaboration with HR, Legal, and Finance teams.
  • Ensure regular meetings with third-party benefits providers are scheduled, and agreed-upon KPIs are reported on.
  • Ensure all benefits providers’ contract documentation complies with local regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile monthly payroll submissions with Finance to ensure an accurate reflection of salary/benefit changes.
  • Undertake benefits-related projects and initiatives, including employee training.


Requirements: 

  • Demonstrated track record in a benefits role, preferably with prior EMEA experience, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within a part-time schedule of 2-3 days per week.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise workload within a part-time capacity, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of all tasks.
  • Experience working with third-party benefit systems, HR reporting systems, and pension portals.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, PAYE, and Pension Auto Enrolment regulations.
  • Discretion, tactfulness, and sensitivity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities, resourcefulness, autonomy, initiative, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with employees at all levels, building effective professional relationships across departments and with external providers.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service to the business.
  • Proven track record of providing commercially viable solutions and meeting deadlines.
