A UK based multinational organisation with a regional footprint across more than 100 countries, is seeking a Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager, SEA based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping the total rewards strategy,  providing guidance and support to various business units within SEA region to support growth plans and foster a high-performing culture. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing review of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they align with business strategy and industry best practices.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of compensation trends.
  • Design and execute competitive salary structures, bonus programs, and incentives aligned with performance and market data.
  • Manage and analyze employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compensation and benefits offerings.
  • Partner with business leaders across the organization to understand talent needs and develop targeted rewards strategies.
  • Oversee the budget for compensation and benefits programs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as benefits brokers and compensation consultants.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with a strong track record of success in the professional services or consulting industry.
  • Proven ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles, including job evaluation, salary structures, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
