Talent Acquisition (TA)

Those in Talent Acquisition roles act as internal recruiters for their organisation. They will source, attract, interview, hire and onboard employees into an organisation.

They often partner with external agencies and internal HR teams, hiring managers and selection and assessment specialists.  

Depending on the organisations size, TA roles range from Junior to Senior level.

Those in Talent Acquisition roles will:

  • Identify the hiring needs of the organisation in partnership with the hiring managers
  • Review and refine job descriptions written by the hiring manager for quality, legal compliance and candidate attraction purposes
  • Source candidates through online channels and at in person recruitment events and think of innovative ways to do so 
  • Screen candidates and make recommendations to the hiring manager and assist with moving the candidates through the interview process, supporting and offering advice to the hiring manager along the way 
  • Create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes
  • Partner with third parties to ensure best practice and timely sourcing and selection
