Our client is a boutique professional services organization seeking a data-savvy and experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead their total rewards strategy, working closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO).

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to develop the total rewards strategy. You'll serve as a key point of contact for all employees regarding benefits offerings, understanding their requirements, designing the benefits package in collaboration with vendors, and educating employees


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage compensation and benefits programs aligned with company goals.
  • Lead annual benefits renewal and Open Enrollment initiatives.
  • Identify trends and introduce engagement and motivation practices.
  • Oversee retirement plan administration, including 401k and Cash Balance Plan.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of compensation and benefit programs.
  • Manage the annual compensation review process.
  • Administer leave of absence programs, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Short-Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD).
  • Initiate and launch employee wellness programs tailored to employee needs.
  • Collaborate with the finance team for streamlined payroll processes.
  • Align roles in partnership with the People Leadership team to ensure organizational effectiveness.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Compensation and Benefits Management or similar.
  • Essential professional or financial services background.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with strategic and operational capabilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting purposes.
