Our client is a progressive and forward-looking global law firm, consistently ranked among the top firms worldwide. Based in Boston, they are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their human capital and talent team, responsible for providing strategic and operational support to various functions and practice groups within the firm's offices.
As an HR Generalist, you would be an expert in the firm’s HR policies, providing assistance to employees in resolving complex issues. As the primary point of contact for all employees, you’ll be responsible for conducting new hire orientations, building programs to engage new employees, and improve retention.
In this role, you’ll be providing strategic and operational support to the HR Manager and Director of Administration, supporting the Boston office with 200-250 employees. Collaborating across departments, you will ensure seamless communication and proactive service delivery, and promote value-added benefits, wellness events, and training opportunities.
Key duties will involve recruiting, managing timekeeping activities, handling employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with FLSA standards, guiding on leave of absences, responding to PTO and benefits-related queries, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
